The Pink Manifesto

13 Jul

As always, Audrey Hepburn says it best, doesn’t she? :) That quote is basically my life philosophy summed up into five sentences. It’s odd how well the words of another can fit your life.

If I were to expand that quote to contain the rest of my life manifesto, it might look a little like this:

♥I believe in friendship. I believe that certain people are meant to be in your life. These people will leave their mark in the most insane, ridiculous, and wonderful ways possible.

♥I believe that there is room for grilled cheese and pop-tarts in every diet (insert your own favorite foods if these don’t do it for you).

♥I believe in late night dance parties.

♥I believe that there is no age limit on friendship. When somebody gets you they get you.

I believe in doing something silly every single day.

I believe in loving yourself. Those flaws that you don’t like or wish you could change? They make you you and that’s the most beautiful thing of all.

I believe that not every decision has to make sense. Sometimes it just feels right and that’s enough.

I believe in love.

I believe that sunglasses are essential for any and all road trips.

♥ I also believe that sunglasses are essential for partying like a rock star. ;)

I call this my Ke$ha photo.

What would be part of your personal manifesto?
